Housing Market going strong complimented with good job market price per sq foot rose from $132.39 to $140.32

According to the latest figures published by the Texas Workforce Commission. This marks a 2.54% year-over-year (YoY) increase compared with June 2017, a net increase of 92,200 new jobs.

The average sales price rose 5.91% YoY from $323,905 to $343,052, while the average price per square foot subsequently rose from $132.39 to $140.32. Median price rose 5.66% YoY from $265,000 to $280,000, while the median price per square foot also rose from $122.76 to $130.76.

Months inventory for single-unit residential housing rose from 2.6 to 2.9 months’ supply, and days to sell declined from 68 to 67.
